Mathani, Ahilyanagar – Under the WELEAD (Women Empowerment and Leadership for Effective Administration and Development) project, BGVK recently conducted a specialized training session for Elected Women Representatives (EWRs) in Mathani village.
Supported by Don Bosco Mondo and BMZ, the training focused on enhancing the leadership capabilities of women in local governance. Participants engaged in sessions regarding the functions of Panchayati Raj Institutions, their roles and responsibilities, and effective community mobilization. This initiative is part of BGVK's ongoing commitment to ensuring that women claim their rightful space in rural administration.
