Ahilyanagar, October 2025: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK), under the Holistic Rural Development through Sustainable Agriculture, Women-Led Livelihoods, and Credit Access via Joint Liability Groups Project supported by Manos Unidas, conducted specialized training on natural fertilizers for farmers in the Beed block.
The Training on Natural Fertilizers aimed to promote sustainable agricultural practices among local farmers. Participants learned about cost-effective and eco-friendly farming methods such as the preparation of Jeevamrut, Vermicompost, and Panchagavya. The session underscored the benefits of minimizing chemical fertilizer use, improving soil fertility, and enhancing crop productivity. Practical demonstrations offered farmers hands-on experience, motivating them to adopt organic and sustainable techniques in their own fields.
