Ahmednagar- September 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized health camps in Tadwadi and Kalaj villages of Satara district, benefiting 138 children. This initiative was part of the 'Rural Health and Nutrition' project, generously supported by the Cummins India Foundation.

Health camps for children in villages play a crucial role in improving access to healthcare, promoting preventive measures, and addressing specific health needs in communities where regular healthcare services are limited. These initiatives significantly enhance the well-being of children and strengthen community health efforts. They also facilitate the early detection of health issues, enabling timely interventions and effective management of health conditions.

The health camp was conducted in collaboration with doctors from various reputable hospitals, including Dr. Pol and their teams, who conducted health camp for the children. The smooth execution of the camps was ensured by Mr. Vilas Alhat, a BGVK staff member. The village residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Cummins India Foundation and BGVK for their invaluable support, which has had a positive impact on the health and well-being of the community's children.
