Ahmednagar  - TRI EIACP – PC Resource Partner on renewable Energy & Climate Change in collaboration with Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra, Ahmednagar organized Awareness Programme on Healthy Lifestyle Adopted (Swachhata Actions) Mission LiFE – Lifestyle for environment in the campus of Bhairavnath Vidyalaya Agadgaon at Tal / Dist - Ahmednagar. The main objective of the programme is Mission life. The Chief Guest for the programme was Mrs. Pallavi Singh from TERI. There were other dignitaries from the village along with the village head (Sarpanch). 

The programme began with the prayer song by a team of street play artists in a typical culture of the place. The introduction of the event was given by Mr Dinesh Sherkar followed by the felicitation of all the dignitaries. Fr. George the director of the BGVK spoke to the students and the people on the preserving the environment, the ill- effects of the chemicals on agriculture, reduction of plastic in our daily lives and healthy diet.. Then was the street play and Bharud (Cultural item) on the environment, sustainable agriculture and our role as good citizens in saving the mother earth. It was well appreciated by all. Then, Mr Sandeep Berad and Harshal Agale (Social Activists) spoke on the environment friendly agriculture, reduction of chemicals, planting trees and saving environment. At the end our chief Guest of the programme, Mrs. Pallavi Singh explained to students and the people about Mission Life initiative of TERI and exhorted all to make small changes in their lives to make this earth a better place. 

The programme ended vote of thanks by Mr. Dinesh Sherkar and snacks to all.
