Ahmednagar, 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) constructed a Check Dam in the Partur Block of Jalna District. This significant initiative is part of the Watershed Project, generously supported by the Tata Power Community Development Trust.

A Check Dam has been constructed, and the storage capacity of this structure is recorded at 5.4 million liters. The dam was constructed using various materials such as stone, concrete, wood, and other available materials. This dam has been helping to recharge the nearby wells and borewells. A sizable number of farmers have benefited from this newly built check-dam, as it has increased the groundwater table and recharged the nearby wells and borewells.

The community extends its heartfelt gratitude to BGVK and TPCDT for the construction of the check dam.
