107 BGVK Empowers Women Through Self-Help Group Training in Ranjani Village
Ahmednagar, 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a Capacity Building Training for women in Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Ranjani Village, Ahmednagar District. This initiative is part of the WDF project, supported by NABARD and Tata Power Community Development Trust.
The training aimed to foster individual and collective growth, promote sustainability, and equip SHG members with skills to address challenges and achieve their goals. Empowering women in self-help groups is crucial for them to take control of their lives, make informed decisions, and actively participate in community affairs.
Participants had the opportunity to learn new skills such as financial management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving. The goal was to ensure the long-term sustainability of self-help groups by providing members with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate challenges, adapt to changes, and maintain operational effectiveness.
Mrs. Shweta Ghule was the resource person for this training program. The participants expressed their satisfaction and gratitude to BGVK for organizing this insightful program. Mr. Todmal, a BGVK staff member, delivered the vote of thanks at the end of the training.
