077 Health Awareness Program Benefits Women in Madadgaon Village, Ahmednagar

Ahmednagar, January 2024 - In an effort to support women's health and well-being, the Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a successful Health Awareness Program in Madadgaon Village, Ahmednagar district. As part of the Women Empowerment project funded by Manos Unidas, the program reached 40 pregnant women and other local women.

Mrs. Suvarna Thorat led the session, sharing essential knowledge on pregnancy care, vaccinations, nutrition, exercise, and government schemes available for women's health. Her insights provided attendees with valuable information for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Mr. Sandeep Berad, a dedicated BGVK staff member, played a key role in ensuring the program ran smoothly. The participants expressed their gratitude for the initiative, emphasizing its importance in promoting community health and empowering women with knowledge.
