Ahilyanagar, October 2025: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized comprehensive Health Awareness Programmes and Health Camps for migrant communities in Ahilyanagar district under the Project for Migrant Community, generously supported by Salesian Missions. This critical initiative addresses the pressing health challenges faced by migrant populations—among India’s most marginalized and health-vulnerable groups.
The program specifically targeted migrant youth employed in the hospitality sector, focusing on preventive healthcare, hygiene, and mental well-being. Through interactive sessions, participants gained valuable knowledge on nutrition, lifestyle diseases, and stress management. Health check-ups and counseling were also provided, ensuring that these young workers—often overlooked in conventional healthcare systems—received the guidance and care needed for a healthier and more secure life.
