Ahilyanagar (September 2025) - Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a series of health camps in the villages of Kheda and Lohar Pipliya, Madhya Pradesh, benefiting 68 children. This initiative was carried out under the Rural Health and Nutrition project, generously supported by Cummins India Foundation, Pune.
Health camps in rural areas play a crucial role in improving healthcare access, promoting preventive practices, and addressing specific health needs in communities where regular medical facilities are scarce. These camps are particularly important for the early detection of health issues, timely medical intervention, and effective management of children health conditions thereby contributing significantly to the community overall well-being.
The camps were conducted in collaboration with doctors from reputable hospitals, including Dr. Himanshi and her team, who provided comprehensive health check-ups for the children. Mr. Ruhul Koli, a dedicated BGVK staff member, ensured smooth organization and coordination of the programme.
The villagers expressed heartfelt gratitude to Cummins India Foundation and BGVK for their invaluable support, which made a lasting impact on their children health and well-being and instilled hope for a healthier future.
