266 Sessions on Life Skills for the Children of READ project
Ahmednagar – August 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK), in collaboration with Bosco Net, has initiated a Remedial Education and Development (READ) project spanning 20 villages in the districts of Ahmednagar. This programme reached out to the students belonging to class 1st to class 4th. This comprehensive program is supported by Bosco Net and caters to over 600 students.
The session aimed to educate young children about their basic life skills, such as the right to education, safety and a healthy environment. Through interactive activities and story-telling, the children learned about the importance of respect, equality and speaking up against any form of abuse. The session was designed to be age-appropriate, ensuring that even the youngest students could grasp the concepts. Teachers and parents appreciated the initiative, as it helped to build a strong foundation of awareness and self-confidence among the children.
