159 Training Programme for the Teachers of the READ Project.
Ahmednagar, May 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a Teacher’s Training Programme for the teachers participating in the Remedial Education and Development (READ) Project. This initiative, supported by Bosco Net, underscores the commitment to enhancing the capabilities of teachers engaged in the project.
Recognizing the pivotal role of teacher’s training programs, BGVK acknowledges their significance in ensuring teachers are thoroughly prepared, effective, and equipped to address the diverse and ever-evolving needs of students. These programs serve as a cornerstone for the professional development of teachers, contributing substantially to the overall quality of education. Fr. Ajay D’Monte emphasized on the importance of mental health of teachers and students. Sr. Geeta talked to participants about project activities and outcomes.
The coordination of this training initiative was undertaken by Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra in Ahmednagar. The commencement of the program saw a warm welcome extended to all participating teachers by Fr. George, the Director of BGVK. Throughout the training sessions, emphasis was placed on fostering creative teaching methods, effective communication, and positive behavioural approaches when interacting with children.
