Ahmednagar, October 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a health camp in the villages of Kalaj, Mulikwadi, Nandal, and Hingangaon in the Phaltan block of Satara district, benefiting 196 children. This initiative was part of the 'Rural Health and Nutrition' project, generously supported by the Cummins India Foundation, Pune.

Health camps in rural areas play a crucial role in improving access to healthcare, promoting preventive care, and addressing the specific health needs of communities with limited medical services. This camp was essential for the early detection of health issues, enabling timely intervention and effective management of children's health conditions, thus contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

The camp in Panoli village was conducted in collaboration with doctors from reputable hospitals, including Dr. Pol and their teams, who provided comprehensive health check-ups for the children. Mr. Vilas Alhat, a BGVK staff member, ensured the smooth coordination of the event. The village residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Cummins India and BGVK for their invaluable support, which positively impacted the health and well-being of the community’s children.
