Introduction
BGVK’s Project for Migrant Community brought healthcare to 38 construction workers in Savedi, addressing occupational health risks faced by laborers from Chhattisgarh.

Event Details
Key activities included:

• Occupational Health Screenings: Tests for respiratory issues and musculoskeletal injuries common among construction workers.

• Workshops on Safety: Proper use of protective gear and first-aid training.

• Mental Health Awareness: Stress management techniques for migrant families.

Dr. Pravin Gaikwad emphasized, “Ignoring minor health issues can lead to lifelong disabilities in this workforce.”

Impact and Importance
The camp identified 8 cases of chronic bronchitis and provided inhalers. Workers received PPE kits donated by local NGOs.

A laborer shared, “We work in dust all day. The inhalers and masks will make a huge difference.”
