Ahilyanagar – November 2025: In an inspiring effort to guide rural youth, Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized Career Guidance Programmes in Darewadi, Walunj, and Dahigaon, supported by the Atos Prayas Foundation. A total of 298 students from three schools participated in the initiative aimed at empowering 10th and 12th standard students with insights into career and education pathways.
The program began with a welcome by Ms. Sangita D’Mote, who emphasized the importance of early career planning. Expert counsellors Mr. Rohan Shelke and Mr. Sandip Berad conducted engaging sessions on academic streams—Science, Commerce, Arts, and vocational education—and explained opportunities in engineering, medicine, law, defense services, agriculture, and design. Students also learned about scholarships and government schemes.
A motivational talk by Fr. George D’Abreo and an interactive Q&A session inspired confidence and self-belief among participants. Teachers and students appreciated the initiative, noting its role in bridging the gap between ambition and opportunity.
BGVK remains committed to nurturing youth potential and guiding students toward informed, goal-oriented futures.
