245 Empowering Farmers: Silage Bag distribution at Ranjani WDF

Ahmednagar – July 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) distributed silage bags and provided training to farmers in Ranjani Village, Ahmednagar District, as part of the Watershed Development Fund (WDF) project supported by NABARD and Tata Power Community Development Trust. 

This initiative is aim to promoting sustainable agricultural practices by equipping farmers with the tools and knowledge needed to preserve fodder. The silage bags are essential for storing high-quality feed, enabling farmers to sustain their livestock during dry seasons. By enhancing livestock nutrition, the project seeks to boost agricultural productivity and improve the economic stability of the farming community.

The distribution event was well-received, with active participation from local farmers who expressed their gratitude for the timely support. The silage bags are expected to significantly enhance the farmers' capacity to maintain healthy livestock, thereby contributing to their overall livelihood and economic stability.
