118 Children's Day Celebration for Migrant Community in BGVK Ahmednagar
Ahmednagar 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) hosted a vibrant ‘Children's Melawa’ for the Migrant Community at its premises, drawing in around 110 children from the A Project for Migrant Children's remedial classes. This full-day event was brimming with games, prizes, and delightful meals, creating a memorable experience for all.
The day commenced with the registration of eager students, followed by a heartfelt invocation of blessings upon the day's proceedings. The students of the Arangaon Road group set a poignant tone by beginning the event with a touching prayer, grounding everyone in a sense of togetherness and gratitude. Mrs. Bhavana Ghatvisave, a dedicated staff member of BGVK, warmly welcomed both guests and students, inviting them to relish this specially curated day.
To break the ice, Brother Presley engaged the attendees with an interactive session, setting a lively mood for what was to come. Brother Presley and Ankit then organized a series of games that had the children thoroughly enjoying themselves. The excitement continued as the event transitioned into a dynamic dance session, with students showcasing their talents with boundless energy and enthusiasm.
After a satisfying lunch, the cultural showcase began with each of the five groups and five individuals presenting dances and speeches representing diverse genres, cultures, and languages. These performances were a mixture of colour, energy and grace, captivating the audience and fostering an appreciation for cultural diversity.
The day reached its peak with the heartfelt distribution of gifts to each student, leaving them feeling cherished and valued. As the event concluded, every student departed with a sense of love and appreciation, their hearts filled with gratitude and a renewed resolve to excel in their studies.
