Ahilyanagar (2025) – Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK), under the Project for Migrant Children supported by Salesian Missions, organized a Vaccination Camp for migrant children and pregnant women in Arangaon, Ahilyanagar city.
Conducted in collaboration with the government health department, the camp provided essential vaccines including BCG, DPT, Polio, Measles, and Rubella for children, and TT and antenatal immunizations for pregnant women. Awareness sessions on maternal health, child care, hygiene, and nutrition accompanied the vaccination drive.
BGVK staff and health workers mobilized family’s door-to-door, ensuring strong participation. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for receiving healthcare at their doorstep, reducing risks of preventable diseases and strengthening maternal-child health among vulnerable migrant families.
