Ahmednagar – June 2024- Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra organized a health awareness rally to promote health and hygiene in the village of Tambve, Phaltan. The initiative saw active participation from more than 126 students, volunteers, villagers, and school staff. The school children gathered at their school ground in the morning, where project staff briefed them on health, hygiene, and the slogans for the rally. From there, the children marched through the entire village, carrying placards with messages on personal hygiene, cleanliness, and safety precautions. The children were excited to participate and effectively communicated their message to residents and commuters along the way. 

After the rally, a health awareness session was conducted, covering topics such as health, sanitation, nutrition, infectious diseases, and home remedies. Mr. Vilas Alhat, Coordinator of BGVK, provided valuable information on health awareness and nutritious food. Snacks were served to the children and school staff after the rally. This entire initiative was supported by Cummins India Foundation and received widespread appreciation from the community.
