137 Inauguration of Village Knowledge Center at Ranjani Village
Ahmednagar, 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized the inauguration of a Village Knowledge Center (VKC) tailored for women in Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Ranjani Village, Ahmednagar District. This significant initiative is part of the Watershed Development Fund (WDF) project, generously supported by NABARD and the Tata Power Community Development Trust.
The primary objective of this program is to establish a hub within rural communities to provide access to information, education, and technology resources. VKCs are strategically designed to bridge the digital divide, empower residents with knowledge and skills, and foster holistic community development.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Todmal extended a warm welcome to all attendees and provided comprehensive information about the Village Knowledge Center and Krishi Seva Kendra. Emphasizing its significance, he highlighted the VKC's primary focus on serving farmers, acknowledging the pivotal role they play in the region's agricultural landscape. The community expressed gratitude to BGVK and NABARD for this initiative.
