059 Health Camp for women at Rajoda village (MP)
Ahmednagar 2023: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) orchestrated a health camp in Rajoda village, situated in the Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh. A total of 120 women benefited from these camps, which were organized as part of the 'Rural Health and Nutrition' project, generously supported by the Cummins India Foundation.
Health camps play a pivotal role in addressing diverse healthcare needs, embodying a proactive approach to public health. They focus on preventive healthcare measures, encompassing health check-ups, vaccinations, and awareness programs. Such initiatives significantly contribute to enhancing healthcare accessibility, promoting preventive measures, and addressing specific health concerns, thereby fostering the overall well-being of communities.
Doctors Himanshi Sing and Vaishanvi Sharma assisted in the camp, conducting awareness sessions and check-ups on various topics such as Menopause, White & Red Discharge, Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), cervical cancer, Breast lump, BP, Sugar check-up, HB check-up, and distribution of sanitary napkins.
Mr. Vilas Alhat, a dedicated staff member of BGVK, ensured the smooth operations of the entire camp. The villagers expressed their gratitude to the Cummins India Foundation and BGVK for their unwavering support in making this health camp a valuable resource for the community.
