246 Veterinary Health Camp in Ranjani WDF

Ahmednagar – July 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a Cattle Health Camp in the Ranjani village of Ahmednagar District as part of the Watershed Development Fund (WDF) project, supported by NABARD and Tata Power Community Development Trust. A total of 340 animals, including goats and cows underwent a thorough health check-up.

Veterinary Health Camps are integral to providing diverse health services for animals, promoting animal welfare and addressing specific health challenges within communities. These camps play a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of animals, supporting community livelihoods and safeguarding public health. This camp aimed to offer veterinary care and healthcare services to animals.

Mr. Balasaheb Gaikwad provided valuable information on the benefits of vaccination, regular health check-ups and improving the overall health and well-being of animals. The camp also focused on reducing the spread of diseases and educating animal owners about responsible ownership practices. The villagers expressed their gratitude to NABARD, TPCDT and BGVK for their valuable support.
