Ahilyanagar, October 2025: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a Women’s Health Camp at Nimgaon Bhogi village in Phaltan block of Satara district, benefiting 68 children and several women. This initiative was implemented under the Rural Health and Nutrition Project, generously supported by Cummins India Foundation, Pune.
The camp aimed to improve healthcare access for rural women by focusing on reproductive health, menstrual hygiene, and nutrition. A dedicated team of medical professionals provided consultations, essential medicines, and health counseling. Participants were encouraged to adopt preventive health practices and to prioritize regular medical check-ups. The initiative played a crucial role in fostering health awareness and well-being among rural women.
