Ahilyanagar, October 2025: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a series of Women’s Health Camps across the villages of Nandal, Wathernimbalk, Saswad, and Surwadi in the Phaltan block of Satara district, benefiting over 360 children and women. The initiative was carried out under the Rural Health and Nutrition Project supported by Cummins India Foundation, Pune.
The camps addressed critical healthcare needs of rural women, offering screenings for anemia, blood pressure, and other common health issues. Awareness sessions covered maternal health, family planning, and personal hygiene. By creating a safe and supportive environment, the camps empowered women to discuss their health concerns freely and access timely professional advice and treatment.
