Ahmednagar – June 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK), in collaboration with Bosco Net, has initiated a Remedial Education and Development (READ) spanning 20 villages in the districts of Ahmednagar.  This programme reaches to the students belonging to class 1st to class 4th. This comprehensive program is supported by Bosco Net and caters to over 600 students.

A significant number of students enrolled in these classes are referred by school teachers due to being significantly behind their peers, requiring additional attention from educators. The primary objective of the project is to enhance the quality of education in rural areas and mitigate the dropout rate.

To ensure the success of the initiative, teachers closely monitor the progress of each child through regular monthly exams and homework assignments. These classes have played a pivotal role in significantly contributing to the academic improvement of the children involved.
