141 Support Classes Improve the Scope of Education for Migrant Children

Ahmednagar 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK), in collaboration with Salesian Missions, has initiated a 'Project for Children' spanning six migrant areas in the city of Ahmednagar. This comprehensive program, supported by Salesian Missions, caters to over 216 students from 1st to 4th grade.

A significant number of enrolled students are referred by school teachers due to being significantly behind their peers, requiring additional attention. The primary objective is to enhance the quality of education in slum areas and mitigate the dropout rate.

Teachers closely monitor each child's progress through regular monthly exams and homework assignments. These classes have played a pivotal role in significantly contributing to the academic improvement of the children involved.
