Ahilyanagar – November 2025: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK), with support from Manos Unidas Foundation, organized a training workshop on natural fertilizers at Sonewadi village to promote eco-friendly and sustainable farming practices.
Participants learned about composting, vermicomposting, and biochar production using locally available organic residues. The training highlighted how these methods can reduce input costs, enrich soil fertility, and enhance water retention.
By adopting natural fertilizers, farmers are reducing dependency on chemical inputs, improving productivity, and contributing to environmental conservation. The initiative reaffirmed BGVK’s commitment to farmer-led sustainable agriculture and rural resilience.
