Ahmednagar, 2024: Nearly 850 women from the project villages attended the International Women's Day celebration, organized by Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK), at the sprawling Shirsai Temple Hall, Shirsuphal. The day-long event was filled with fun, food and entertainment.

The BGVK team, headed by Mr. Vishwas Sonawale (TPCDT Associate) ensured that the women from the all project villages had a wonderful time but also enriching time with one another during the day. He thanked all the women for their tireless work towards their families and the society at large. The Chief Guest for the day was Dr. Neha Shah and the guests of honour were Mrs. Sable, Rupali Bhatkar, Shubhangi Sarang, Shilpa Adsul, Sarang (Site incharge) and Mahajan Kulkarni. 

Mrs. Neha Shah guided women towards the importance of exercise and a Nutritious Diet. The day ended with snacks for all the women who participated in the event. This whole event was sponsored by TPCDT as a part of the ‘Vocational Training Centre’ project. The women were grateful to the BGVK and TPCDT for their role in their lives.
