Ahmednagar 2024: BGVK organized health awareness sessions for women and adolescent girls in Ahmednagar, Phaltan (Maharashtra), and Dewas (Madhya Pradesh). 2,107 adolescent girls and women participated in these programs under the 'Rural Health and Nutrition Project' by Cummins India Foundation.

Mr. Sandip Berad welcomed participants and resource persons. The objective was to educate girls and women on personal health, hygiene, menstrual cycles, diet, and nutrition. Experts discussed physical changes, reproductive health risks, rights, contraceptives, STDs, sexual abuse, and substance abuse. They emphasized safe birth control methods.

After the sessions, participants asked questions that were answered. All were grateful to Cummins India Foundation for this initiative.
