As part of the READ Project, Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) and Bosconet organized monthly teacher meetings to strengthen professional development and collaboration among educators in rural Maharashtra. These gatherings provided a platform for teachers to share experiences, discuss challenges, and develop improved teaching strategies.
The meeting focused on practical areas such as lesson planning, curriculum alignment, student assessment, and inclusive education. Facilitators introduced effective pedagogical methods that encouraged active learning and critical thinking in classrooms.
The sessions fostered a supportive environment where teachers learned from one another and built a shared commitment to improving education quality. Over time, these regular meetings helped establish a culture of continuous learning and reflection, ensuring that schools remained responsive to students’ evolving needs.
