048 Health Camp for the Women at Panoli Village
Ahmednagar 2023: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a health camp in Panoli village, located in the Ahmednagar district. A total of 150 women benefited from these camps conducted as part of the 'Rural Health and Nutrition' project, financially supported by the Cummins India Foundation.
Health camps play a crucial role in addressing diverse healthcare needs, embodying a proactive approach to public health. They focus on preventive healthcare measures, including health check-ups, vaccinations, and awareness programs. These initiatives significantly contribute to improving healthcare accessibility, promoting preventive measures, and addressing specific health needs, thereby fostering the overall well-being of communities.
Drs. Amol Kamble and Ankita Gujar assisted in the camp, conducting awareness sessions and checkups on various topics such as Menopause, White & Red Discharge, Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), cervical cancer, Breast lump, BP, Sugar check-up, HB check-up, and distribution of sanitary napkins.
Mr. Vilas Alhat, a staff member of BGVK, ensured the smooth operations of the entire camp. The villagers expressed their gratitude to the Cummins India Foundation and BGVK for their support.
