Ahilyanagar (August 2025) – Under the initiative “A Project for Migrant Children” supported by Salesian Missions, Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) facilitated the enrolment of 10 children from migrant families into schools in Ahmednagar city.
Migration often disrupts children’s education, making them vulnerable to child labour and illiteracy. To address this, BGVK organized awareness sessions with parents to emphasize the importance of education in the holistic development of their children.
Teachers reported improved attendance and integration of these children in classrooms, ensuring their education journey continued despite migration challenges. Parents expressed heartfelt gratitude to Salesian Missions and BGVK for enabling their children to access mainstream education.
