001 Medical Care for the Poor and Needy: 1956 Benefited Through Twenty-Two Medical Camps

Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), November 2022: The Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) conducted twenty-one health camps in 21 different villages in the states of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. A total number of 1956people benefited from these camps held under the aegis of project ‘Rural Health and Nutrition’ financially supported by CSR.

These camps were held in association with doctors from various reputed hospitals of Ahmednagar. Dr Mahadev Pol, Dr Kundan M., Dr Vaishnavi Sharma, Dr Ankita Guajar, Dr Praveen Gaikwad and team examined patients at various locations. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint Pain, Common Cold, Calcium Deficiency, Gastric Problem, etc.

Fr George D’Abreo (Director – BGVK) along with the staff ensured the smooth operations of all these camps thus benefiting such a huge number. The people from the villages expressed their gratitude to CSR Company and BGVK.
