133 Training on Herbal Medicine
Ahmednagar, 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a Training Awareness on Herbal Medicine session for the SHG women in all project villages, Ahmednagar. This initiative was conducted under the 'Holistic Empowerment for SHG Women' project, generously supported by Manos Unidas. The session saw active participation from 21 enthusiastic attendees.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Sandip Berad, who also provided an insightful introduction to the program's objectives. Highlighting the importance of herbal medicine, Mr. Berad emphasized the need for practitioners to possess comprehensive knowledge to ensure safe and effective utilization of these remedies. Understanding herb-drug interactions, dosage guidelines, and recognizing potential side effects are crucial aspects in this regard.
