191 Home Visits to Students with Parents of Holistic Primary Education Project

Ahmednagar – June 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) convened home visits to build relationships with students in the Primary Education Project, which is being implemented in Dhadgaon within the Nandurbar district. This noteworthy project receives support from Manos Unidas.

Home visits to students' homes can be an effective way for teachers and school staff to engage with students and their families, providing several benefits. Personal visits can help build stronger relationships between teachers, students, and families, showing that educators care about students' well-being beyond the classroom. Teachers can gain insights into the students' home environments, helping them understand students' behaviors, challenges, and needs better. Home visits can also encourage parents to become more involved in their child's education, leading to better academic outcomes. Additionally, these visits can foster trust and improve communication between the school and families, making it easier to address any issues that arise.

The parents are happy and grateful to Manos Unidas and Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra for this initiative.
