Ahilyanagar (August 2025) – Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) installed 55 solar-powered lighting systems in migrant households across Arangaon Road, Kapurwadi, Savedi, Ranjani, Dongargan, and Khandke.

Energy scarcity is a critical issue in informal settlements. The intervention provided safe, sustainable, and affordable lighting, reducing reliance on kerosene lamps and unsafe connections.

Families reported enhanced safety, convenience, and improved study opportunities for children, while women highlighted relief in carrying out household work after dark.

Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to BGVK and New Rochelle for this life-changing support.
