Ahilyanagar – November 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a capacity-building training for Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) in Ahmednagar district under the “Rural Health and Nutrition Project” supported by Cummins India Foundation. A total of seven CHVs actively participated in this insightful session.
Mr. Vilas Alhat (Project Coordinator, BGVK) welcomed the participants and introduced the resource person, Mr. Sandip Berad, who facilitated the session. The workshop aimed to enhance knowledge on health, sanitation, nutrition for women and adolescent girls, anaemia prevention, family planning, and nutrition education.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer round, where participants clarified doubts and shared experiences. The CHVs expressed gratitude for the training and pledged to utilize the knowledge gained to assist needy and marginalized families in their communities.
