041 Veterinary Health Camp at Mathani-Balewadi villages
Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) organized a Cattle Health Camp in the Mathani-Balewadi Villages of Ahmednagar District as part of the WDF project, supported by NABARD and Tata Power Community Development Trust. A total of 530 animals, including goats, cows, and buffaloes, underwent thorough health check-ups.
Veterinary Health Camps are integral to providing diverse health services for animals, promoting animal welfare, and addressing specific health challenges within communities. These camps play a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of animals, supporting community livelihoods, and safeguarding public health. In collaboration with doctors from the Animal Husbandry Department in Ahmednagar, this camp aimed to offer veterinary care and healthcare services to animals.
Mr. Sherkar provided valuable information on the benefits of vaccination, regular health check-ups, and improving the overall health and well-being of animals. The camp also focused on reducing the spread of diseases and educating animal owners about responsible ownership practices. The villagers expressed their gratitude to NABARD, TPCDT, and BGVK for their valuable support.
