134 Celebration of Rang Panchami with Migrant Community
Ahmednagar, 2024: Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) took a group of migrant children in Ahmednagar city to celebrate Rang Panchami. This event was part of BGVK's 'A Project for Migrant Children,' which is supported by Salesian Missions.
Considering that cultural events are a core aspect of a student's personality growth, different festivals were celebrated in these study centers. Through these celebrations, the children were made aware of the relevance and meaning of all the feasts, making the celebration more relevant. The Rang Panchami festival was celebrated during this project period in the migrant community.
The main goal of celebrating Rang Panchami is to give these children new and enriching experiences. The children get to learn about different cultures. During the program, the children were given information about the area they explored.
The BGVK coordinator, Mrs. Bhavana Ghatvisave, thanked everyone at the end of the program. The participants said they really enjoyed the trip and were grateful to BGVK for organizing it.
