Ahilyanagar (2025) – Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK), under the Rural Health and Nutrition Project supported by Cummins India Foundation, organized Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) registration camps at Daithane Gunjal and Sasewadi villages. The scheme offers free health insurance coverage of up to ₹5 lakhs per family per year.
The camps provided on-the-spot document verification, registration services, and issuance of Ayushman Health Cards, ensuring that economically weaker families gained access to quality healthcare with dignity. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation, reflecting villagers’ eagerness to benefit from government health schemes. The camps were smoothly coordinated by Mr. Vilas Alhat and the BGVK field team, who guided participants throughout the process.
Grateful beneficiaries expressed heartfelt thanks to Cummins India Foundation and BGVK for bringing this essential service directly to their communities, reducing healthcare barriers and empowering rural families.
